Overview
Notes may be taken within the online course by selecting the Notes button in the lower left of a course content page. This does not appear in chapter or section listings and cannot be accessed during an exam.
Note Taking
The notes window allows you to capture key details from the course for later. You may also format your notes with the following options:
- Bold
- Italics
- Underline
- Font Sizing
- Paragraph Styles - Grey, Bordered, Spaced, All Uppercase
- Alignment
- Ordered list
- Unordered list
- Indentation
- Quoted text formatting
- Horizontal Rule (Line Segment)
While you can type directly into the notes section, you may also choose to copy text from the course and paste it into the notes. This can be done by highlighting and right-clicking text to select copy/paste, or with keyboard shortcuts CTRL+C to copy and CTRL+V to paste.
Once you have completed your notes, you should click "Save Notes" before closing the window with the X in the upper right of the window, or by pressing Escape on your keyboard.
